We went to Huntington West Virginia where Marshall University is located. We stopped at the football field and were able to walk around on the field and have some fun. This is the place the move “We are Marshall” It was based on a plane crash that killed most of the football team.

On a trip we passed the Marathon Ashland refinery, We were going east on I64 and just before the WV boarder there was a glowing light. On the right is a HUGE (Huge to me) refinery, full of lights, steam, gases and who knows what. It’s a very impressive light and machinery display.

Charleston West Virginia is a nice little city. It’s seems clean and take care of. Even in this economy. The Capitol building is clean and the war veterans memorial is distinguished.
