USS LST-325 was in Jeffersonville IN, on Aug 22 2009. Andrew and I went to the ship and take a tour. It’s quite a large ship that is a great piece history. Th LST-325 landed troops at Normandy on D-Day June 6th 1944. She survived the mission and is now being saved by a great group of historians. They spend time and money repairing and restoring this ship. The USS LST-325 is normally docked in Evansville IN, however it is currently in Jeffersonville IN and I’m sure on it’s way further North. Its a great ship and you should stop and check it out. Honor your country and support it’s history.
